Hebrew HealthCare

Volunteers play a crucial role at Hebrew HealthCare. They are truly extensions of our staff and they help us provide better care; they enhance the quality of so many lives while transforming their own lives. Our volunteers literally span all ages, from 1 to 100. Volunteers can choose to have direct involvement with residents or provide other essential services.
Give the gift of Yourself: Become a Volunteer!
Thank you for your interest in our volunteer program!  For more than one hundred years, volunteers have been at the very heart of Hebrew HealthCare providing crucial support services that are vital to our Resident’s and Client’s overall well being.  Whether you are interested in volunteering to develop new skills or to give back, as a volunteer you will find tremendous satisfaction connecting with those on our campus.

There are many ways to share your gifts and talents:

  • Work in the Main Street Café or the Gift Shop
  • Assist in the Senior Adult Day Center
  • Teach card games, sewing, knitting, crafts or flower arranging
  • Assist residents in telling their life stories
  • Provide computer instruction
  • Facilitate an activity or discussion group
  • Visit with a resident-provide companionship, read a book, manicures
  • Assist on our units at mealtime
  • Accompany residents on outings
  • Assist staff in various offices throughout the building
  • Become a youth volunteer
  • And much more!

We hope you will consider joining us as we enrich the lives of those who call Hebrew HealthCare home.
