On Sunday December 9, 2007, 412 people attended a wonderful event "Join Gene: Celebrate Life!" at the Hartford Marriot Downtown. See some photos below!

Gene and Anja Rosenberg and their family asked the community to Join Gene! Celebrate Life in honor of Hebrew Health Care (HHC) and its rehabilitation services. The evening began with a cocktail reception and silent auction followed by a sumptuous sit-down dinner and live auction, featuring a smart car donated by Hoffman Auto Group, Jeffrey S. Hoffman, HHC Chairman, and Bradley Hoffman, HHC Board member.

Five hundred and sixty thousand dollars ($560,000) were raised from this event. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help to further grow and strengthen Hebrew Health Care’s Rehabilitation program and many of its other services which impact the lives of over 2000 older adults in the Greater Hartford area each year.
